He directed the Multi-State Survey of Race and Politics, a broad look at race relations and politics in contemporary America. The survey reached 1,015 residents of Nevada, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, North Carolina, Georgia and California. All were battleground states in the 2008 presidential election with the exception of California, which was included in the survey to represent the West Coast.
The survey found that 30 percent of respondents had never heard of the tea party, but among those who had, 32 percent strongly approved of it. In that group, 56 percent of Republicans strongly approved, 31 percent of independents strongly approved and 5 percent of Democrats strongly approved.
Among whites who approved, 35 percent said they believe blacks to be hardworking, 45 percent said they believe them intelligent and 41 percent said they believe them trustworthy.
Now that's pretty telling. Almost half, half of these people think we're dumb, and even more of them think we're lazy oafs. You know what it's cool, I'll revel in our rich history while you dedicate your life to keeping an L alive (shout out to confederate history month.)

Our government has needed an overhaul for years. In God We Trust isn't on our currency because we're good Christian soldiers (because that's what the forefathers were...right? RIGHT?) It's because that money sits as the most high lord and savior for the people that are supposed to represent us and our needs. I can't understand how you think your revolt can start and begin with elected officials. They have screwed you before & they will do it again. Just the way it works. Hypocrisy and politics make great bedfellows.

You have somehow legalized racial profiling on the back of immigration. So how will you know the difference between an illegal & a citizen? Does an illegal smell like oppression?
