Have you ever signed onto messenger scrolled through your list and asked to yourself "who the f*ck are these people?" I have. I'm going to start asking people who they are and what they did to get on my list.
Yo, everytime....everytime!!! I hear the breakdown in "Poison" I want to break into a running man....no lie.
Ending another year, and about to start another, I feel like I haven't accomplished much. I'm really trying not to become that old bitter dude.
I'm deathly afraid of losing another friend to suicide before the year is out.
There's nothing like seeing with your own eyes, proof that the brother you looked up to is an alcoholic, and feeling totally powerless to help him.
What would I do if I didn't have true friends. Even if some of us don't talk anymore I'm totally thankful for all the kind words/wisdom/telling offs/arguments....it's making me a better person.
I don't think you're ever too old to have a crush. I wonder who's crushing on me.
I need somebody to be my nose when I go cologne shopping in the near future, any volunteers?

I'm Just Not Feeling Christmas-y Right Now

While I'm not exactly bah humbugging it up, it's just my heart isn't totally into the season. Not yet at least. Quick! Someone pass me the alcoholic egg nog before it's too late!
It's difficult to fully detatch yourself from this time of year when you involved with kids. Christmas is like the Super Bowl of holidays. I remember those sleepless eves, and waking up that morning looking for a Nintendo under the tree. Two weeks off from school to play Zelda all day.
Being a grown up sucks sometimes.
I came out of my dentist appointment unscathed, but with a little more work to be done. I am thankful for painkillers and dental insurance (I almost pissed myself when I saw what I would pay if I didn't have insurance.)
I'm going to try and be more consistent in blogging. More open too. I know you guys are tired of random ramblings and you hope I trip and bust my head open on a soapbox.
Kingdom Come = Disappointing.

It's Said:
That you truly don't miss someone until they're gone.
Those words have always rang true. Even more so these past two weeks. Haven't had someone this close to me pass away since my favorite grandmother way back in '94. Ever since I got the news, the thoughts of her have been constant.
She was an inspiration. A joy to be around. A good friend.
Too bad I didn't get to tell her enough.
Rest in Peace Nikki, I hope you have attained the happiness you looked for.

You Just Gotta Love E-Racists!!!!
So, I'm just surfing along the world wide web the other day, mindlessly skimming pages out of boredom. When I come across this video here.
Now, looks like a typical stomp out. Real men ganging up on one guy{sarcasm.}
I'm thinking whoever is behind the camera sure is a moron for taping this shit and not turning it in to the police. But it's not until I read the comments that I really get steamed.
Now, aint this some bullshit. For everyone who doesn't feel like clicking the links here are some of the replies, quoted word for word:

Now any type of 'cism is unacceptable. I mean I shouldn't let this kind of shit get to me, but at the same time, if I just ignore it I also accept it. No fucking way, even if I do consider them total cowards. I think all of them are, but the ones who hide behind an internet screenname and wrte their hatred in all caps are the lowest of low.
I'm calling all you pussies out!
Now, all of you net nazis, you surfing skinheads reading this, I present to you a challenge. Approach that nigger, spic, wetback, jew, fag, slanteye what have you....tell them how you really feel. Show me that you got a pair. I'll guess I'd be the violent nigger that you figured I was after I beat the living shit out of you.
You can be proud of who you are without hating everyone else. Wait scratch what I said up above, I got something that's even more difficult for you to try.....
You ready????
How about trying to reach out and getting to KNOW us. Don't get your ideas about us from BET, or MTV or the fucking media. How about speaking to us, and maybe finding out we all are similar and we like the same shit. Cease with the ignorant bullshit.
And before you speak on about violence.....check the history books, they pretty much speak for themselves......
Have a good one.

We're Losing Ours
I was saddened & totally devestated upon hearing about the sudden death of rap producer Jay Dee (aka J-Dilla) of kidney failure Friday. You've probably heard some of his work most recently on Common's "Be" album. One of the baddest MF's behind the boards ever. You will be missed Dilla.
What got to me most is he was only 32 years old! 32!! Brothers, we gotta take care of ourselves. Health is important, go see that doctor, get checked out. It could be the difference between living till 100 or not living at all. I'm not just talking either, I just had my physical last week. I need to change some things, but I know and feel better knowing than not knowing.
This will probably be my last blog for about a week. I don't have a laptop, and besides I'll be in Vegas. If I'm blogging you before Wedensday something is wrong with me.
A tat may also be on order, but I don't have any idea as to what? I've run my mouth about one for the past year or so, and still have no clue what to permanently ink onto my person.
*This is the part where I refrain from telling my place of employment to suck my balls.*
*still refraining*
Ah...fuck it.

Today I Am Sarkstradamus!!!
I called it. Perfect strike. Hit for the cycle. If you don't beleive me I called the Steelers Super Bowl win. On Friday no less. I got my crstyal ball swagger going. Ms. Cleo is my hypewoman, and Deion Warrick is on backgrounds.
Let's see what we can see.
- Says here I will be voted "World's Most Sexiest Man" in 2015. Then I will be beaten to death moments after by Shemar Moore, Tyson Beckford & Tyrese.
- After not winning a grammy for "Late Registration," Kayne will step back into the lab and change the game again. This time, sampling chipmunks to make them sound like regular people.
- This week, a crackhead will try to sell you something practical.
- Oprah will still be rich tomorrow.
- I however will be borrowing a dollar from you to get home.
- The number you're thinking of is 41.
- Both members of Mobb Deep will be denied access to most rides at Universal Studios. However, they bypass the gate attendant second time around by mounting on each other's shoulders, with Tony Yayo as the head.
- After running out of candies to name songs after D4L will be telling strippers nationwide to work that Everlasting Gobstopper.

So That's All It Takes??
So all you need to do is marry Brittany Spears then have a kid together & someone will throw you a record contract?
And the execs wonder why people would rather download. I am making a list ala Jay & Silent Bob of those who will actually drop 20 on a K-Fed CD. I will then show up at your door, and drop Macho Man elbows while berating you verbally.
Don't get me started on Paris Hilton.....
Oh and Kevin....from the bottom of my hating heart....fuck you! I can't be too mad though, but then I can be. I see a bunch of hungry artists, who are a hell of a lot more talented than you on the mic. Hell my niece deserves your deal (who wanna battle?) Don't mind me, I'm just sick of no talent hacks thinking the shit I do & love is easy. Others been out there grinding trying to get heard & it's just a joke. When they see you, they see everyone else that's under that genre. It's like that drunk uncle that's always asking for money. You don't really like him, but you can't necesarily disown him.
If you had to listen to this crap, you'd drink too.
Now onto something better. Continuing on with artists you should know about.
I present to you Jean Grae. Please beleive me when I say this woman is ILL. I wish I could write like she can. She's just fire...in my opinion very few in the game are fucking with her lyrically.
Don't take my word for it see for yourself.

2-0-0-6
First off, it's 2006...you should NOT be asking me how do I send an email. If you do not know how to send one by now, please step away from the CPU before it explodes from sheer stupidity.
Okay, now we can talk music.
I really, really, REALLY hope that artists continue to raise the bar creatively. So the people running these companies see that talent does sell records, instead of depending on catchy beats & hooks. I recall something Jay-Z said in the "Fade to Black" DVD. Jigga said, "You got dudes afraid to be themselves (I'm paraphrasing) which I think is true. Music nowadays, especially rap/hip hop R&B lacks honesty & genuine people period. In the era of keeping it real, who's keeping it real? Hell, what is real anyway? I guess it's carrying more guns than sense, and killing niggas....with your shirt off by the way so the hoodrats & bitches (excuse me) can see your washboard abs while you murda a bitch ass nigga. Cause you're a thug nigga, you sell drugs & still have time to make records.....
Then there are groups like Little Brother. Consisting of MCs Phonte, Rapper Big Pooh & Producer 9th Wonder (who's all over the place if you've been paying attention.) They've put out three albums that are arguably classics. (The Listening, Chittlin Circuit 1.5 & The Minstrel Show) 9th's beats are soulful and bass heavy, Phonte has a sharp flow that's brutally honest with a sharp wit to go with it. Pooh spits with conviction & hunger (like all MCs should.) For a while BET wouldn't play their video for "Lovin It" it was speculated that the people in charge claimed it was "too smart" (go to launch.com & peep the video.) Don't take my word for it, listen for yourself. My favs tracks Hiding Place, Lovin' It , All For You & Watch Me.
I think that's what I will start doing with my blog. Give a little shine to an artist I think you all are doing yourself a disservice by not knowing about them. Well, in between my tirades....
Have a good one.
